Proven strategies to grow cyber security sales

Enjoy this email….because who doesn’t want a bluebird every week???

Don't throw the kitchen sink at people!

Cognitive overload... is when one is given too much information at once, resulting in not being able to process the information.

Ever get the feeling that your prospect is experiencing cognitive overload?...you know, that glazed look in their eyes. It gives away their inner thoughts...

"For the love of all things holy, why did I take this meeting?"

or

"If this rep has 20 more slides like the last one, I'm going to stick needles in my eyes!"

Don't overload anyone with too much information.

- Cut it down. Way down.

- Simplify it.

- Package it up in blocks. (eg, everyone loves a list of 3)

The less you tell, the more impactful you will be. The more they will understand and take in. And you will be in control of what is remembered.

Be frugal with what you expect people to take in. They will take in even less than you hope. No judgment... it's just that we are all human.

Be human and treat your prospects like humans.

No prospect ever said, "I sure wish that salesperson had talked a lot more."

Time for a dad joke break...

My friend David had his ID stolen. Now we just call him Dav.
