#3. One thing B2B sellers can learn from Mikaela Shiffrin, the greatest skier of all time
In January 2018, Mikaela Shiffrin had a great start to the alpine ski season. She had won 8 of 9 races and was a clear favorite for the Winter Olympics.
But despite winning gold and silver, many were disappointed in her performance, including herself.
While reflecting back on the previous season that summer she realized she made one big mistake. But resolved to rectify it for the following season.
The result?
Mikaela's 2018-2019 season was the single most dominant season by a skier (male or female) of all time. She won 17 races. Her nearest rival won 4.
In the next season or two, she will have won more times than anyone else in the history of skiing, male or female. And she's only 26.
What she realized in the summer of 2018 and the subsequent change she made is relevant for B2B salespeople.
